Marketplace payments
that actually pay out.
Stripe Connect is where most teams get stuck - onboarding, split charges, payouts, webhooks, disputes. I've shipped all of it in production. I'll build it properly for you, the first time.
One charge, split and settled automatically. No manual transfers, no spreadsheets, no chasing payouts. This is the exact flow running in production on TidyLinker.
What I build
The whole Connect surface - not just the happy path.
Onboarding & KYC
Hosted or embedded onboarding, identity verification, and capability checks so vendors can actually get paid - without you touching compliance.
Account types
Express, Custom or Standard connected accounts - picked for your control, branding and liability needs, not whatever the tutorial used.
Charges & fees
Destination charges, separate charges & transfers, application fees, and on-behalf-of. The right model so the money and the liability land in the right place.
Payouts
Automatic or scheduled payouts, instant payouts, negative balance handling, and a payout history your vendors trust.
Webhooks that hold
Idempotent, signed, retry-safe webhook handling. Events get processed once, in order, and never silently dropped.
Refunds & disputes
Refund flows that reverse the fee correctly, plus dispute and chargeback handling that does not leave you holding the loss.
Proof, not promises
I built a Connect marketplace from scratch. It's called TidyLinker.
A two-sided marketplace for professional cleaners - connected accounts, verified onboarding, in-platform payments and automatic payouts. The split payment animation above is the real flow it runs every booking.

Full Connect integration - account type, charge model, onboarding, payouts and webhooks. Typically 3-6 weeks.
Existing Connect integration misbehaving? Short audit, then a fixed scope to get payouts, fees and webhooks reconciling again.
Common questions
Have you actually shipped Stripe Connect, or just read the docs?
Shipped it. TidyLinker - my own two-sided cleaning marketplace - runs on Connect in production: connected accounts for cleaners, application fees, automatic payouts, the lot. This is not a first rodeo.
Express, Custom or Standard accounts - which do I need?
Depends on how much control and branding you want versus how much compliance you want to own. Most marketplaces want Express (Stripe-hosted onboarding, you keep the relationship). I will recommend the right one for your liability and UX - that decision early saves a painful migration later.
Can you fix an existing Connect integration that is half-broken?
Yes. Dropped webhooks, payouts that do not reconcile, fees landing in the wrong place, failed onboarding - this is exactly the kind of mess I untangle. I will audit what is there and get it to stable.
What does it cost and how long does it take?
Most Connect builds run £8k-20k depending on account type, charge model, and how much onboarding/payout UI you need. Typically 3-6 weeks. Rescues are scoped after a short audit.
